University of Sioux Falls

The University of Sioux Falls is a small, private, Christian Liberal Arts Institution with over 80 academic program offerings. Our most popular majors include:

Mitchell Tech

SD School of Mines

  • South Dakota Mines offers degrees in 16 engineering and science majors as well as 18 minors. Engineering majors include chemical, civil, computer, electrical, geological, industrial, mechanical, metallurgical and mining. 

National American University

  • Business programs, allied health, nursing, IT, paralegal and criminal justice.
  • NAU offers, diploma, associates, bachelors, masters and doctoral programs.
  • Nursing program is offered at the Rapid City and Sioux Falls campuses. All other programs are located at all SD campuses: Watertown, Sioux Falls, Rapid City and Ellsworth Airforce Base. NAU also serves a non-traditional student population, the average age of student is 35.

Augustana University

  • Augustana offers more than 100 undergraduate majors, minors, and pre-professional programs in addition to master’s degrees in the areas of Professional Accountancy, Education, Genetic Counseling, and Sports Administration.

Western Dakota Tech

  • Our largest programs are Practical Nursing, Welding  and Fabrication. We also have a state-of-the-art medical simulation lab.

Northern State University

  • The largest number of degrees annually are confirmed from the School of Business (B.S. Management, Accounting, Professional Accounting, Banking and Financial Services) and the School of Education (Elementary and Secondary Education, Human Performance and Fitness).

Southeast Tech

Lake Area Tech

  • Vocational School with 26 programs.
  • Campus is known for being a National Aspen Prize winner twice and for having President Obama as keynote speaker for 2015 graduates.

South Dakota State University

  • SDSU offers 78 undergraduate majors, 35 master’s degrees, 15 Ph.D. programs, and 2 professional doctoral programs.
  • These academic programs are housed primarily in 6 colleges: Agriculture & Biological Sciences, Arts & Sciences, Education & Human Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy & Allied Health Professions, and Engineering.

University of South Dakota

  • USD offers 206 undergraduate programs and 71 graduate programs, and features the state’s only Law School and Medical School, along with a state of the art Business School, that is fully accredited by AACSB International, and a Media and Journalism department, fully accredited by the ACEJMC.
